YOU NEED POWERFUL COACHING

Is Anxiety Killing Your Marriage?

WHY IS ENCOUNTER COACHING POWERFUL?

“We are, feeling more stress today and having more anxiety than past generations despite our massive technology.” JR Adams writing in Forbes magazine on May 10, 2017, likens this to “drowning in a sea of overwhelm.” What does this have to do with coaching? Are you losing out on knowing others deeply? Are challenges making you anxious? Do you sometimes feel your faith isn’t enough? It takes more than digital data and short video images to inform us about our deepest desires and how to relate them to others. That is why I started a second career with encounter coaching.

Journalist R.L. Adams continues in the same article saying:

“While the internet has most certainly provided us with accessibilities to on-demand services, commerce and interactions that were once far more complex, it's also glued us to our devices…These distractions alter our perception of reality, sucking us into the digital ether, leaving us dismayed and beleaguered in our quests to achieve our goals. …Distractions abound.”

One reason encounter coaching is so powerful is that it brings structure to the process of thinking, planning, and deciding what to do. Instead of just talking about your needs, you are systematically walking through a framework that clarify them. You get to explore new options, make firm decisions, and become accountable to act on your choices. That’s a lot more than just talking.

• Coaching is powerful because it provides a meaningful relationship with someone who cares that you sort through your concerns, grow in your purpose, and create steps to achieve your goals.

• You will feel more confident as you gain the skills to increase your connection with others.

• Former incarcerated people really do change, and coaching provides opportunity to discover their goals and strengthen their identity and purpose.

Coaching offers a discovery process, skill building and life changing experience.

• Marriages can be better.

• Leaders can resolve their anxiety and uncertainty of the future.

• Goals can be defined, and strategies created to achieve them.

• You just may discover new ways to approach old problems.

• That is why coaching is powerful!

Ken Hale is an Encounter Coach and works with couples who have been married between 5– 15 years and are asking themselves “what have I done” or think “this marriage is a strange thing or think it shouldn’t be this hard” but you still believe and want to excel together. Besides marriages, he coaches leaders in transition and former incarcerated individuals. His approach is distinctly Christian. He is a missionary and conference speaker in development countries
